We co-founded Bayside Therapy Co in 2026 to bring specialised paediatric therapy services to our hometown of Dunsborough.

Inspired by the calm and welcoming nature of the bay, our vision is to create a space where young people and families feel supported and empowered to work towards the goals that matter most to them.

Meet the Team

At Bayside Therapy Co, our team is built on friendship, collaboration, and a shared passion for supporting families. As co‑owners, Kristen and Steph work side by side under a joint venture, each running their own practice while united under the same company name. Together, we bring complementary skills and a shared commitment to creating a warm and inviting space for children, teens, and families.

Senior Speech Pathologist & Owner

Kristen

I’ve worked as a speech pathologist for 20 years. I have always loved supporting young people in developing their communication skills so that they can strengthen social connections and feel confident and empowered to express themselves. I believe that building a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship is key to success. I shape therapy around each young person as an individual, and some of the most rewarding moments come from hearing their perspectives and insights. I’m constantly learning both from them and their families!

Outside of work, I love dancing and really value the importance of fun and joy in life. I try to bring that same energy into my sessions whenever I can.

Senior Occupational Therapist & Owner

Steph Batt

I love being an Occupational Therapist in the southwest and feel privileged to be part of so many young people’s lives. Supporting my clients to achieve meaningful goals and engage in occupations that are most important to them is what I find most fulfilling as a therapist. I have a particular interest in social and emotional development, helping children, teens, and young adults build self‑regulation and stronger connections with others. I believe therapy should be fun and practical, and I take pride in creating a respectful and empowering space.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me at the beach, socialising with friends, or spending quality time with my two beautiful boys.
